Help Please Re Xbox 360 Update

Hi Guys,

My son has just tried to get onto live and it has told him an update is availiable for his console. He has the big update from about a month ago,
so does anyone have any info what this is?

Bit wary to download as don't want to brick his console just before christmas
if its firmware related.

Just done the update on my modded 360 wiv Samsung Drive, All okay so far :)

Itsa fix for 1080p - Samsung 4.2a works fine here.
