Wireless Networking 360 Questions

Hello,
I was wondering if there is any way of wirelessly networking a 360 withouth buying an expensive M$ adapter, as i have, usb wireless dongle, or can it be enabled via, internet connection service, as it is wired to my PC, but not my router. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've heard of other people getting other wireless dongles working but i've never had any joy, only the official MS Wireless Adapter works as far as i know

Can you set up an access point with a rj45 port on and do it that way? Sp the WAP picks up the signal and transmits it to the 360 via cable?
