We use BT Business Broadband at work for internet connection and past couple of days, had some difficulties in viewing websites, either taking long time to load up or connection lost pages on the browser.

I think they are having DNS problems, but having called the Help Desk they gave me some cock n bull story that we had the wrong package deal as we are on a network and that their system has just "suddenly" realised this, which has caused the slow speeds..!!! What bull$hit!!

Weird like considering we've had the same package for nearly 2 years now.

My boss uses BT Yahoo Broadband at home, and has been having same problem.

I've set the network cards on each PC at work to specific primary and secondary DNS servers which are for BT, and this seems to have helped a bit, rather than let the router get automatically from ISP

Am using these as DNS servers.

Primary - 192.168.0.10 (which is our router)
Secondary - 194.74.65.69

This seems to have helped however when loading up secure https sites its still slow http://www.neowin.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

We use a NetGear DG834Gv2 Router (which I have at home with same firmware and having no probs on Talk Talk).
