Right got the kids a xbox 360 for crimbo.
What is the best option for the batteries for the wireless controller?

Are good rechargeable batteries any good(i already have a charger) and what length of battery life would i get approx for each controller?

or one of the Charge and Play kits or one of the quick charge/battery kits.Supposed to be 25-30 hours gameplay with these

What do you guys who have been playing the xbox360 for nearly a year now think?

Get the Plug and Play kits m8, you'll never have to buy batteries again

Yeah think i will go for the quick charge kit and additional battery works out £28 for the proper m/soft one.
I know its kinda hard to guess orangeman but do you get approx the 25 hour gameplay that it says on the quick charge pack?

I don't know if it's just me but I'd prefer to charge my batteries seperate. When you're charging from the play and charge cable even after the 360 is turned off the fans still drone whilst it's charging. You have to listen to that DC10 taking off whilst you're trying to watch Spooks. It's a f'kin nightmare. I thought I could remember a way to use it without the fans kicking in but over the mist of time I've forgotten.

Have done in the past but it's not the best option cluttering up my poor little study.
My desk already has USB chargers for PSP, Phone, Ipod, Camera etc etc etc.

If you press the power button 2 more times, it switches off completely

can you charge whilst playing at all with these?? im looking to get one as it will be far too expensive if not.

If you cant there is no point to it really, already got my own charger.
Thanks
