monitor keeps going black

[REAL DEAL]

been having problems with my monitor going black when i try & run videos or pictures on my pc. I have to shut the monitor off then on again to get it to run but shut off any app that is running videos before it goes black again.

Cant figure out why but i seem to think it could be a graphics card issue.


Can anyone shed any light on why this maybe happening or whether it could be the graphics card

Try unistalling and reinstalling the graphics card drivers.

i had probs with an old graphics card-kept on saying no signal and had to pull the power to reset.
think it may be because f the response time.
monitor is reponding to changes quicker than the card is changing over solosing the signal.
