Anyone use this? Is it easy to use? I've been patching the cache and ftping for awhile now, I was only able to do specific patches but recently I got a hold of some injectors and have been adding them into the modded arena's i've found, can the HCE do this on the fly and then load it without having to ftp it in?

Yes, I've had this for awhile now and its much better than having to ftp. Really it isn't that much different than the old process its just more automated. Basically after you load the game up to get the cache like you normally would. Then you go into hce and pick out what patch you want to use. It automatically patches the cache and then loads the game up.
So now all you have to do is transfer the patches and not the whole map file.

Awesome, now I can change my maps on the fly. Is 0.70 the latest version as that's the latest I can see? I tried out 0.46 last night and it just hung hopefully this version won't hang when I get home and install it.

Not sure which version I have its probably 6 months old or so.
But make sure you reload the cache (starting a game and quiting) between each patch or it'll freeze up.

forgive my ignorance- HCE allow you to custom build maps/areas and weapons right?
if so i assume its only limited to multiplayer games on your own xbox- surely you can't create do this across system link as well?

HCE patches your cache files on the fly, HMT/sparkedit edit the maps. Milkshape reskins the vehicles/weapons/characters.
Inorder to play across system link with someone else they have to have the same patches installed on the game otherwise it will freeze.
xbox_war3z mentioned that he is working on v8 HCE which will allow the patching of the cache through system link if they are both running HCE v8, but i don't think that will be ready for awhile.
