mp3 and cda files, please help

please help
i have some mp3's on my laptop and in the past have used windows media player to convert and burn to disc so that i can play in my car stereo.
this i have for many years with never a problem..
till tonight that is,
done the normal ,came to play in my car and no joy, put disc into laptop the the file type is "CDA"
i have window med 10 and also have I-tunes installed as a have a Ipod.
An advice would be greatly appreciated

use nero m8 ive used it for years and never had a problem with burning cds or mp3s

Did you try making another CD? Are they all failing or is this just one single disc? If this is just one failed CD then I don't see a point in worry about it nor should you bother installing additional or alternate software because of it. Don't fix anything unless it's really broken.
