Ive been getting a SFF Asus PC ready to sell, and have had to buy a new fan for the PSU as it had stopped working. Its a strange design, it just slides out when you unscrew, so a bit of soldering and its replaced
The new fan Ive bought to replace it though has the 3rd wire, the yellow one. What I want to know is: is that just a control wire?
Can I safely solder just the red and black wires from the PSU to it and it'll work fine?
