Hi Guys, right bought a new drive pioneer 111d. The verbs i bought a week ago are the 8 speed jobbys bought 3.50 a pop. these are fine and the box boots these so was definatly my old drive ( for those who read my last post ) however i ordered a tub of printable verbs ive burnt 7 so far and only one has been successfull. all the others get to 99% and then i get the dreaded " OH NO" so it would appear the disks are poney , any ideas guys ?

Where did you buy the disks ? ..... if SVP, send them an email and claim a refund, as Verbs should work like a dream on the 111D.

BTW we talking about the 360 or XBOX1 here? If it is the 360, it would help if we knew which drive you had in it. Also what firmware does your Pioneer have on it?

Hi.
Having a verb prob myself at the mo.Always used 10 packs of 2.4 printable
verbs.Burning with a 108.All 360 games, I usually burn at 4x no probs but
my most recent pack i can only burn at 2.4.any 4x burns crash.Maybe
it's a new dye.Very strange.

WELL i thought it was just me , verbs are hard to get at the mo so im wondering if they have been shiping there rejects as the last 2 tubs ive had have been a mixed bunch of the " o no "

ps most places are sold out of um but svp have um , they did put the price up though lol makes you wonder if verbatim have let there quality control slip to meet demands ?

I doubt that .... it's more likely that they are being faked by some bunch of Far Eastern corooks and being passed off as the real thing through dodgy outlets/comp fairs etc.

I and a number of m8's have used 100's of these and never had a problem ....... where did you get them ? ..... was it a reputable outfit like SVP ?

Verbs are MKM 001 I believe, I doubt Verbs would use the Ritek dye, seems more likely that they are fakes or datashite, ridisc.
Ridisc printable ones use the dye you mentioned so if they are printable ones then I'd say you have been given those.

Got my verbs from scan tho,one of the most reliable and trusted shops
there is.Could do with some input from the guys over at BST as there are
enough on there using verbs to give us a broader view of whats going on.

snap just did nhl 2k7 and had exactly the same thing , this was using a diferent 111d to the one im sending back minr has a lighter ring just above the leadin and when i put it in the 360 it doesnt even no theres a disk in there , notice the layer breaks are different and the status for the coaster says incomplete , i really think that due to shortages of verbs they have let there quality control slip , i use to work for a multi billion company and when things got busy and orders were behind we use to put rejectsin with the good, really was funny cos they would have temps taking the packages apart and putting in the rejects just to make the numbers up because of late delivery penaltys , call me over suspious but that my own opinion.

had nothing but good service from svp in the past, id defo get an email out to them asap m8 and sort out some new discs!!!

guys who aint getting the right dye are u all ordering from svp also????

as to the light burning ring ppl where getting with the verbs i have never had a verb do this to me only ridiscs/xtreme + datasafe/bulkpak have done this in the past.

i can see in redbull's info that the dye info is however correct and must be down to a batch being crap or as some have said them throwing anything out the door!!!!

fire an email off to svp and have them claim off there supplier!!!
