360 has scratched my disk

COD2 has a circular scratch on it quite deep and wont play past it :( are there 360 issues with scratching disks ? could it be a faulty drive the boys were playin it when it happened they herd a scrapeing sound, the xbox is positioned verticaly could that be the prob?

did they accidently (you know what kids are like) knock the unit whilst disc was playing,

i know what you mean, lol, being vertical and all its probably what happened, if its the only game that has a circular scratch then i would say that is what happened

This has happened with a load of my mates original 360 games (but none of his backups??). The problem has stopped since he stopped mounting his console in the vertical position.

ive got the 360 hoizontal now, just sick its ruined me cod2 lol time to get the firmware flashed me thinks

i have had a xbox game in mine and chucked it about and it will not scratch a disc quite strange hey!!! but good for when me lad starts to play it lol
