Connection to my tv

i have a hd telly and want to get a hd pic from my 360

no component connection only a dvi socket

if i use a vga cable and a vga to dvi adaptor will it work ?

actually no, i`m 99% certain it wont, infact i tried it the other day and it didnt.

could be wrong,it could of just been my telly, but i remember reading somehere that MS havent even released a DVD / HDMI cable but if i am, ill eat my laptop ;)

Hmm fair enough, I assumed since VGA cable works then sticking a vga-dvi adapter on the end of it would too. WIll have to try it when I get my new monitor.
