Hey guys, a while back i tried using besweet and got scared off by all the options, but tried a few things and got nothing to work and switched to dbpoweramp.

any way long story short i'm thinking of starting to use it again as part of Gordianknot, but i dunno how but its stored the setup from before, and now the wizard gui doesn't work properly (i choose the file to be encoded, select output filetype bitrate, channels etc and any other settings- then hit go and and all it does is create the log file).

and in the standard besweet gui, a few things are screwed up, like i can't change the input file and point besweet to where all the different audio dll's are- it won't let me change the file extension from mp3 to dll or any other type- the drop down box is greyed out. i've tried different versions and always getting the same probs- is there somewhere in the registry that all these settings are being kept?- i'd like to wipe them and start again

thanks for any help guys :t_up:

Have you tried unregistering the dll?
uninstall the addin from visual studio
unregister the dll with regsvr32
run... regsvr32.exe /u dllname.dll
start the ESBServer.exe
reboot your pc
open visual studio and reinstall the addin
press the 1st addin-button and ensure that BeSweet is enabled
open a workspace in visual studio
right click on the BeSweet-SystemTray-Icon and maximize --> your workspace should be listened here

thanks Elaine, i'm with you upto rebooting the pc, I haven't got visual studio installed so not sure what to do from there.

when you mean the dll, do you mean the the audio dlls i'm trying to point besweet to?
