just downloaded an album that has 2 .ogg files, 1 .wma file & the rest .mp3.

Is there any way of making them all mp3???

yeah with something like dbpoweramp (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/), (make sure you get the additional ogg and wma add ons here (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central.htm)), bear in mind you are likely to loose a bit of quality on recoding.

bewsweet is another alternative and so is nero wave editor, make sure you get the additonal audio plugins here (http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org/) if you decide to go that route

Nero wave editor is rather good, converts almost anything to anything, with editing options for things like hiss reduction, sample rate, volume normalization etc.

It can take care of inly one file at the time tough

I like Goldwave 5. It does batch processing and you can also choose from many effects during conversion.
