error message in nero 6

I have started to get this message in nero 6 "could not perform end of disc at once" Using a pioneer 105 at 4x the disc gets right to the end then fails!! Anyone guide me what to do??

Probably your media .... try another brand.

used datasafe riteks m8, G04 type, not had this problem before and not changed media in months!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any more ideas please, tried alcohol and it worked fine with the same media, so it appears a nero problem?????

Hmmmm. ........ I've heard folk having probs with +r's using Nero 6 .... could this be what you're using.

Nero 6 definitely has/had some issues. I went back to 5.5.10.56, which works well for me.

yes would def have probs using +r's with a 105 but the version of Nero sounds like a good option.

:beer: I had a lot probs with nero 6 , fixation errors etc at end of discs with a liteon 1s81 drive , i've gone back to nero 5.5.10.56 with the same media and everything works ok
