Like Test Drive not much in the nfo with this one, as its DNL just a straight burn again i'm presuming if anyone could let us know?

Well i followed the Patch Notes and i'm getting Unrecognized Disc, anyone tell me what i've done wrong?

My rebuilt image, if i right click and select properties is 7.05 GB (7,572,879,360 bytes)

nope, lol

i'm trying something else, i noticed that the game.iso that you use in the fix is smaller in size (by a few bytes) than the one i have here that came with isobuilder which is making me think its a older file (why should the one they supply be smaller in size than what the orginal file is for doing this rebuilding images?), so i redid the final step but then it gave me a image file ( IMAGE.000) without the cue file (IMAGE.DVD) meaning clonecd wouldn't load the image file, so i've imported the Test Drive Unlimited IMAGE.DVD cue file ( as basically the IMAGE.DVD is just like any othe cue file for burning) and now its burning the image.

will report later but not holding out for much hope.

Ok here's what i got:

Original ISO: 7.05 GB (7,572,879,360 bytes)

When Split and saved as game.iso: 6.80 GB (7,306,999,808 bytes)

When Rebuilt: 7.05 GB (7,572,879,360 bytes)

The cue file for the rebuilt image is already in my FIX folder so in my FIX folder i have:

Build360 MS DOS Batch File

dmi.bin file

image.dvd file

pfi.bin file

ss.bin file

video360.iso file

game.iso file

and then the rebuilt image.000 file

Probably not alot of help but just showing you what i have to see if you have any different.

I'm assuming you tried a straight burn with the original iso?

think i found it

seen this posted and confirmed to work, will test myself so if you want to wait or you can follow instuctions.

this is how to get it to work (tested working)

0. Need at least 14GB free on disk(s).
1. You have in one folder(1) the IMAGE.000 and IMAGE.DVD files.
2. Have another folder(2) with the files from the patch, with 6 files.
3. Copy the SS.BIN from that folder(2) to folder(1), so you have 3 files now.
4. Open Command Prompt (CMD) go to that folder (1) and type "copy /b ss.bin + IMAGE.000 game.iso" without commas, and wait (take some time).
5. So you have now 4 files in folder(1).
6. Open SS MERGER 1.6 from the patch (or other if you have), go to Tools, Iso Splitter, and a new window will open.
7. Now, select Original ISO from folder(1), check extract game partition, and then choose below the path to folder(2) and give the name "game.iso", without commas, and wait.
8. Now go to command prompt again, and switch to folder(2), here you will have 7 files now, type build360.bat and wait again.
9. BURN, and if you don't have any problem with failure of PC, DVD or MEDIA, you will have a working game.

Am i selecting the iso i originally downloaded or am i selecting the iso that is now called game which was built in step 4?

Cos that now has the ss included in it

I've done everything in the guide above, when you say use SS Merger you mean just the ISO Splitter bit which i've done

i'm always happy, prehaps they took the fix we got working and repacked their release, lol.

although it really peeves me of that these so called scene groups don't seem to check their releases before releasing them and even the fix. Why bother if it don't work, esp 7gigs of it.
