Hi all.
I have recently bought this DVD recorder. So far I'm very pleased with its performance, but I've now encountered a possible problem.
I bought some DVD RAM discs and tried one yesterday for the first time. Whilst they record fine, I can't get the Time Slip, or Play from beginning functions to work. Even when I try to use the Navigator to view a previously recorded program nothing appears on screen. The DMRES screen shows the right messages, but nothing changes on my TV screen.
When I checked the manual it says these functions will not work when the "TV system" settings are different from the title on the disc. I'm not exactly sure what this means, but suspect this relates to the problem. Any ideas, anyone?
My setup is simply a Sky box fed to my TV and the DMRES via scarts, and another scart from the DMRES to the TV. This setup means I can only record from AV1. The recorder doesn't recognise channels.
Just wondered if anyone with this unit has a similar setup, but can use the Time Slip, etc, functions.
Cheers
