So I was modding 2 xboxs this weekend, one was a v1.1(1mb bios) and a 1.2+(256k bios) I somehow got the boxes confused and flashed the v1.1 with a 256k bios resulting in no video signal and flashing red and green. So how did i fix it you ask........simple.

you solder one wire per point on the picture, make sure the wires are about 10-12 inches long, after all the wires are soldered to the points, you put the box back together and then meet the tips of the wires together, making the xbox think it has a 256k bios - if you break the connection the xbox is in 1mb bios mode, after that I reflashed the TSOP with a 1mb bios. Unsoldered the wires with desoldering braid and put the box back together.....
be careful when flashing, i've done about 25 boxes now and thats my first goof, I hope this helps anyone in a similar situation.
