How to Use Mirc?

Can someone explain how to use Mirc to download files? I have installed Mirc but it all looks confusing

Get on an efnet server or whatever is your favorite. Then get a list of all the groups and pick out whichever one looks good to you. Also the people in the groups are usually pretty helpful and will explain how to download and stuff when you get there.

Well, to download stuff, just go to packetnews.com or ircspy.com and type in what you want. Then click on the pack number, and when it connects just hit Ctrl+V (paste) and enter. Then if slots are availible, it will send, or youll wait in line.
Make sure in the DCC options you turn ignore off, and i suggest you just put it on auto get file and minimize.

Have you added the .tar file extionion to the list to be automatically accepted?Yeah, just do that, or like i said, just completely turn off ignore. If some work but others dont, odds are its just that bot.
