I was looking at some game 'patch' sites and got a popup that led to me getting many more popups and a virus which norton picked up but couldnt fix, it is: "bloodhound exploit 6"
this porn site is now fixed in my favourites, when i delete it, it returns and when i type www.google.com (http://www.google.com/) i am redicrected to http://searchpage.**/ and same for hotmail.com
I also can not open anything in media player and god knows what else is wrong
Done a scan with norton and it isnt getting picked up
HAss anyone ahd similar problems, if so have they been solved?
thanks

Go download SpyBot S&D and AdAware 6. Run them, and clean it all up. If you still have problems after that, get HijackThis and post the logs here.

Looks like your Browser has been hijacked.

Have a read here ... lots of info http://www.spywareinfo.com/

Also grab your self a copy of Spybot S&D and Adaware 6. and do some scans of your system.

You're probably going to need HijackThis (http://tomcoyote.com/hjt/) or CWShredder (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html) to get rid of it. Once you get it sorted, download SpywareBlaster (http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html) and keep it updated to prevent this in the future.

First of all get rid of anything that refers to ****://nkvd.us/. Everyone please don't click on this link!

I don't think ****://nkvd.us/ affects mozilla users...

I don't believe that it does, ps2wiz. However the last thing that we want is having more members being hijacked. In fact, I'm going to edit the link.
