XP pagefile

Can anyone explain this?

I recently removed all swapfiles from my pc as I wanted to defrag the disk it was on & rebooted. Although the page in the control panel says the total swapfile size is 0Mb the task manager still reports the pagefile usage as 190Mb!

Ive got a similiar problem m8, but I am unable to create a pagefile although the taskmanager & registry entries suggest there is one!! Driving me mad

I'm pretty sure the task manager is wrong because on my machine i have set the pagefile to be 120MB via the control panel and when i check the propertys of the file pagefile.sys which is my page file it says it 120MB in size but when i check it in taskmanager it says the pagefile is 192MB in size. So i'm guessing it's one of those rare microsoft bugs. :)
