Hi, I have been waiting till the quirks are fixed or something better comes out. I read about the Toshiba-Samsung 360 Auto Flasher v1.1 tool that makes the whole process simple.
I just need to verify some steps:
1. Where can I find the easiest guide to open my Xbox 360? I have built computers,etc., but when it comes to opening like $400 system, I get very nervous, so the easiest way would be appreciated. If someone can post a link or e-mail me.
2. Where can I find the software Toshiba-Samsung 360 Auto Flasher v1.1? Is there a tutorial avaiable.
From what I understand
I would have to open the 360, connect the drive to my Dell E510.
Turn on pc and waited til the autoflasher menu showed up.
Turn on 360
Pressed A and get a backup of firmware.
Turn everything off.
Put USB stick into laptop (http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=529081&st=45#) and check original.bin is 256k
