Hi guys,
Got my 360 today and I am trying to connect it to my Acer AL2671W but I am not sure how the cables go.
Im pretty sure that I need to buy another cable to connect to one of the scart sockets but can someone guide me in the right direction because Im not sure which cable I need .

Heres the connections:

http://www.trustedreviews.com/images/article/page/3223full.jpg

To the right of the screen are the scart connections and in case you cant see what they read, (from top to bottom) it is Tuner, RGB, YUV.
At the bottom is composite connections and headphones and in the centre of the image are DVI and VGA (PC is connected into this).

Thanks for any help.

I'd recommend the xbox 360 advance HD VGA cable.

This way you can connect to the VGA socket availablle.
For auido use hte red and white sockets.

Deffo the VGA cable. Scart and composite won't touch VGA.

Hi Big Al. I'm just in the process in selling my XBOX 360 and I have one of these cables you need........
http://hardware.teamxbox.com/reviews/xbox-360/40/Xbox-360-VGA-HD-AV-Cable/p1/

It's still in it's original packaging and it's the offical Microsoft one so if you're interested give me a shout.

It's going on ebay otherwise.

Cheers

i gather your monitor has rgb then doesn't the cable supplied work(HD component cable) other than that get the vga hd cable and a VGA switch so u can use it with the pc aswell. but if your graphics card has DVI then get a dvi cable instead of the VGA switch.

Thanks for the replys so far, I went ahead and bought the VGA HD cable and its now working great in HD :luxhello:

However, When I want to use the PC or Xbox I have to manually switch the cables over.

Now can someone point me in the right direction to finding a VGA switch, Im not sure which one I need.
Or would it be easier (or cheaper) to buy a DVI cable, I have an X1900XT in my pc and this has a DVI-I connector but the tv is DVI-D.
Is this a problem as I cant find the nessacery cable? Or can I just use a DVI-D to DVI-D?
Thanks
