Part of the reason is that some people can't use thier better judgement in what they post as an avatar. I have seen it time and time again that even though there are rules and guidelines setup, that someone has to have a porn/borderline porn as an avatar.

Ok I'll end this debate... There are several reasons for this, and no bandwidth is really not an issue btw, not on my server at least.
However server load is, and while it's doing fine I need to see how hosting 2 boards is going to affect performance.
As far as external hosting... that's a big no. As this means we have yet another area where we have to moderate what is in good taste and what is not. I'm afraid a few bad apples would spoil the bunch in this case.
If it ever happens, the images will be stored here on this server, and they will be approved first.
But for now it isn't going to happen.

Um, no. Hoss is the Head Mod. He has (had) control over the forums but not the site itself or access to the server (pair.com). Charles is the owner.
