hotmail account hacked grrrrrrrrrrrr

so annoying, is there any way to shut it down or try to get my account back? had this email for ages and got a big list of friends on there. grrrrr bloody hackers!

doubt theres a way to get it back mate.

I dunno how hackers do it but had it happen to a friend before. He was also tryign to hack mine but he said my firewall threw him off? so i shut down my pc to be safe. best thing i would say to do is always backup your contacts and choose a extra long password with numbers letters and CAPITAL letters. also try to change your password every so often, and have a decent firewall.

most of the time it's just some idiot who went through your "Forgotten your password" process and guessed your secret question to reset your password. hotmail is web-based so it shouldn't have anything to do with your firewall unless he had a keylogger on your PC that records your keystrokes.

i know who it is, i had a little trouble on ebay where i left a negative feedback and the guy is now constantly troubling me, first he started sending rude emails to my boss at my workplace and now he has hacked my hotmail account!!! this ****er is driving me nuts, might have to take a trip upto yorkshire and retreive my password.

You used ebay and gave the seller/buyer your boss's email addy ..... a little unusual I would have thought, anyway if you have evidence of harassment from the seller/buyer you should report him to ebay regardless of weather or not you take a trip to see him.

well maybe he used his personal company email address... not his bosses lol.. that way the guy can easily track the boss of the company.
