Ipod External Speakers

Any recommendations for external speakers for my son's Ipod. He fancies putting them in his room. Good quality.

if you go to one of the apple stores they have loads of speakers set up. You can play with them and see which ones sounds good, they actually have quite a good range.

Then go somewhere else and get it cheaper...
