softmod help required

I got my nephews xbox softmodded a while ago, it is the audio exploit, wher u put in an audio cd and do a keypress to get it going.

He has deleted some save files, and now gets an error code 13

Is this xbox knackered now?

If it don't work now and your nephews have deleted some save files I'm guessing that they have deleted the exploit files!

Error code 13 means:
http://www.xbox-scene.com/img/xs_sp01.gif 13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail (due to missing/bad key, or anything else that would prevent it from running) and the dashboard didn't specify why it failed.

...You would normally deduce that you have a font exploit, if you corrupt your dash.

...But your saying that you have to use a button combo, so you must be using an audio exploit, and have deleted evox.ini, hence it can't find the correct dash!

A simple reinstall of the exploit should sort it, no worries :)

...Make sure you delete any saves that look like they may have been part of your original exploit, if you can, otherwise its possible that some corruption may occur on reinstall.
