Probs playing Jap original on Neo4 PS2 ???

I picked up a Jap original game Moon Cresta for the PS2 and am having probs booting it and I was hoping someone could help. :cheers:
Here's what I've done so far...
1. Direct boot - nope!
2. Disc swap - nope!
3. Burned a CD copy using Nero SmartSuite and went for the swap trick. I get a couple of lines in Japanese with the words PS2 (presumably about region encoding) and then it tries, non-stop, and fails to boot.

I figure if back-ups of the Winning Eleven games boot OK then there must be a way to burn a copy of this and get it to boot - any ideas anyone????

I don't think neo4 chips are able to bypass region coding. Therefore giving you the japanese screen probably saying that the game is not meant to be played in your region.

You can upgrade chips, or search the net for hacks to bypass the region coding(I doubt they exist anymore since the chips do it for you)
