what multimedia player shud I get ?

been looking at the archos ones or the GPX2. but want one that will play xvid and divx. e.g. straight download and off u go type.

any recommendations guys ?

right .. can't decide whether to go for the archos av 500 or av 700 ?

as above mate. something that will play xvid/divx files without having to convert. something that looks good with a good screen.

looking at reviews on the web I've opted for the av 500 .. seems to be the best one going.

Yep from what I've seen and read, that one seems pretty decent.
