Problem With Multi Episode Dvd's With Acard Duplicaor

I recently changed my dvd rom in my 1 to 1 acard duplicator. Everything appeared ok till I tried to copy sex in the city retails. The time on the lcd indicates it will take around 3 hrs to do!! I did these ok before the dvd rom was changed, so can anyone suggest anything I can do please re settings etc?
I am burning at 4x and reading at either 8x or 16x

Have you actually tried copying it and ignoring the time? Mines does the same but copies in around 20 minutes.

will try m8, but did not do that before?? Also just tried Angel and it works fine!!

maybe having a problem reading the disk? not dirty or anything is it?

nope, always make sure they are clean m8.
Tried again and it is only burning at a fraction of the normal speed, anyobne else have any ideas??

How long did it take to copy m8? I know you said it said 3 hours but the longest time to record a DVD is 1 hour @ 1x. as stated above ive come accross this a few times with mine but it always burns ok and the time comes down to normal after 10mins or so, Although it may also be a bad disc, you could try ripping it with DVDdecrypter and re-burning.
