Get one of me mate.. Im now taking paypal as well as bank transfer.
It can be easy to upgrade yourself.. but...
1. When you buy it you dont know if its a sammy till you get it home.
2.You may think you have the right gear to do it but it my be wrong brand.
3.If you have never done flashing before and dont understand how hex works etc I would leave well along as you wont be able to fix it if anyrthing goes wrong..

I updated myself last week mate and it all went really smoothly (with the help of a tutorial of course). Im no computer wiz-kid either !
My motherboard has a NF4 chipset so I didnt need to do any hex-editing though

personally if you cannot do it yourself then i would wait incase MS does anything about it and if they do you can then reflash yourself back to orginal if you can do it yourself and not relying on other people to do it for you unless they live local so you don't have to keep posting the xbox out to them. I like the dual firmware method where you can switch it of instead of reflashing it back to orginal firmware
