IPOD at the airport

I am going on a vaction. I want to take mt son's video ipod with me. I will load some movies to it so I have something to do on the plane ride. Will the IPOD be OK going through the X-ray machine in the airport security?

I took my video iPod through airport security a few months ago, i put it in the bucket with my wallet, and they put it through the scanner. It worked afterwards when I was on the plane, so I'm going to say that yes it should be safe.

Went on vacation. The IPOD went through security twice and all worked fine.
