If i open the folder i can delete everything within it, i just cant delete the folder, the folder contains mp3's and like i said can delete them fine, its just the folder, can anyone help me out please?

You may have some hidden protected file in there or something. You could try going into safe mode and delete it then. If not, try to rename the file and then try to delete again.

Tried safe mode m8, didn't work, just tried renaming but it wont let me, comes up with the same error when i try :(
Thanks for the suggestions though :)

When you right click and select properties, does it say it is empty?

Just a thought, but if you click onto "sharing", check if the folder is ticked as being "private". You may have some p2p program trying to access the contents which will stop you from deleting.
If you tick it as private, apply the setting, then restart, it may delete.

All just guesswork, lol.

i have 3 folders inside the main folder i'm trying to delete, i can open all these folders fine and delete whats in them, i can rename the main folder but not the 3 inside, i still get the error, when i right click, Properties on the main folder i have 2 files and 3 folders inside but i cant see the 2 files, i've changed the 'show hidden files and folders' option but nothing new appears, i've tried the Sharing tab and to make it private but the option is greyed out and i cant choose it :(

I had a similar problem some time ago, couldn't delete or rename a folder, eventually I moved the folder to another empty directory and was then able to delete the lot, never found an explanation for the problem though  .

Have you tried scanning the folder for adware/virus in case there's something in the folder that shouldn't be there ?, those two files seem a little dodgy.

No luck again m8 as there isn't any files to delete, i cant see them anyway even with 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' enabled, its just folders and Dr Delete wont delete folders!
