Hi, Got an R220 and after losing the disc and re installing via downloaded programs, i found the following problem.

I open Epson Print CD, load up the image required, then i hit print and it just tells me the cd guide is open. I know it's open, i want to print a flippin disc!

If i take the disc out and close the cd guide, it prints the disc image to a page of paper. I just can't get it to print onto the disc.

Any help would be appreciated.

By the way, if anyone is looking for the Print CD program, Epson charge you £10 to £15 for it on disc now :( To save you some pennies, it can be found free here:

I hope that helps some on here in return for the help i am asking for :)

Click on "File" in the toolbar and select "printer settings" ---- set it to what you want and click OK.......

Thanks anyway but it's sorted now by doing a re install of the printcd program :)

Well, it appears i was wrong, expected too much i suppose.

Now it takes the disc in, and it goes through the print procedure... all good so far.

Once it's finished, it has printed the image sooo off centre, there is only 1 small part of it actually on the disc. It prints ever so well on the tray :(

I'll try to explain where it prints in relation to the actual disc position. imagine you are standing right in front of the printer, the printed image is severely off to the left and too far forward so only a very small piece of the disc is printed. The tray is also ejected fully before the print is finished. It keeps on printing, but by the last part, it has run out of disc and tray to print on.

All settings have been checked and it shows as being in position.

Heeeeeeelp!

Just sorted it all out. Uninstalled again and this time reinstalled with my cousins driver disc from his r220. It is now running well. Thanks for all the help anyway guys. I guess there are significant differences with the different versions of this program.
