Im looking into learning Linux, iv seen SuSe Linux 9.0 proffessional for £30 on amazon. Is SuSe any good?

At the moment im using windows xp so im really not quite sure what i should expect with linux. Is there anything i should be aware of? Im hoping to run linux on a partioned hard drive. C: has win xp installed on it and D: will have linux installed on it. Will this be okay? Or will i encounter problems because i have two completely different operating systems on the same hard drive.

One more question, erm... will aol work on linux?!

Anybody know where i could get it cheaper than 30 quid?

Much appreciated,

Yeah don't pay for it, nearest Linux O/S to Windows is Slackware I would say but don't think AOL would work with it.

Or try Knoppix which you can run from CD and get a good feel of before moving onto something else.
