help with samsung hack

when i type mtkflash r backup.bin and enter i get the following.

port 170, master/slave: a0

then nothing happens.
i have disabled all my ide channels except floppy.

i have ordered the connector kit that i will get next week.am i better waiting for that?

my sons pc has infinity nf2 ultra 400 mobo.is that ok?

something like
1 ide secondry master
2 sil3114 master or slave
something like that.when i press 2 nothing happens.i have just bought this xbox jus for the firmware.

i dont think ur sata sil3114 supports flashing i am in the same boat 180 buck mobo that wont work for flashing

flashed ok but nothing loades except originals.

Disable your IDE port and make sure your xbox gets plugged into you lowest number sata port ie 0 or 1

i just flashed my writer and all backups work.i did not need to disconect the ide.
