Downloader vb.dz

AVG finds this virus(Trojan Downloader VB.DZ) on my PC, which has totally mucked up interner explorer, only thing is when I run a proper scan, nothing is found. I have tried AVG, AVP, Norton, NOD32, a2, Trojan Hunter and Digital Patrol with no joy. Can anyone please help?

where was it located?.....was it your temp internet file folder?

Try running an anti-virus and/or anti-trojan program in safe mode. Also what operating system are you running?

I'm running XP. I can't get my PC to boot into safe mode, as it just hangs on the list of drivers it is loading.
