Simple Pants Network Help

Right im naff at this network malarki so if anyone could help me out here that would be great.

Ive got 2 pcs connected together correctly.

One connected to the internet via adsl, which the other can sucessfully use.. so theres no problems with the hardware side of things i dont think.

I want to be able to share all files from each pc, so i have made the c: a shared folder over the network on each computer.. but.. when i go to my network places.. windows network.. mshome(my workgroup name) it gives me the following error:

"Mshome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of the server to find out if you have permissions.

The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available."

Try this go to the start menu and go to "Run" in the dialogue box type \\computername\c$ (file://\computernamec$) just substitute your computers name (or ip address) this should give you access to your files
