Office XP pro printing help ???

While printing doc's on word in the office xp pro, the page auto re-scales to fill a A4 page, tried the scale to fit but doesnt seem to do anything, was told about a normal.dot on the comp but not sure what the guy was on about. any help would be great

I'm afraid I don't know what could be causing the problem but as far as the "normal.doc" is concerned it's the standard template that opens when you open word, you can configure it to your needs and save as "normal.dot", ".dot" being the template extension, but be aware that any changes made to "normal.dot" will obviously continue with every new document.

edit: Just checked the options in Word and under the "Print" tab there's an option to "Allow A4/Letter paper resizing", I'm not sure If that could be anything to do with the problem you're having but must be worth checking out.
