external hard drive

thinking of getting an hard drive but wasn't sure bout the type to get. i've seen the ide ones, got one of those already and use it for burning from but wondered if the sata ones would be better, i noticed the transfer rates are quicker. cheerz jimmy

Yep but IDE drives are more than fast enough for burning even @ 16X and 18X. SATA external drives are faster as you said.
