Laptops Original State?

Hi guys,

I am selling my laptop tommorow and I need to know how I can get it back to its orignal state of a new laptop, so that all my programs, files, music and such are gone and its a fresh interface :)

How can I do this, simply?

Welcome to DVD-ROM Guide.

If you didn't get a Factory Restore disk with the Laptop, your easist way would be a clean install of XP.
During installation XP will format the partition, which will wipe all your existing data.

NP ... one point to remember, you may have to change your bios to boot from CD.
