software help for dvd copy

I have a friend in the states if that makes a difference! with a new mac pc that needs to copy a dvd, I know how to with a windows pc, I use dvd shrink, dvd for 3 and roxio.
can any one help with what software she needs to get for the mac please

She needs mactheripper, free:

Then she either needs:
Popcorn 2 from roxio:
http://www.roxio.com/
or dvd2onex:
http://www.dvd2one.com/

The process is: rip the dvd with mactheripper and process the result with dvd2onex or popcorn and then burn.
Popcorn has the advantage that it burns the dvd, dvd2onex does not, if she does not have Toast already it would be a cheaper option to get Popcorn 2.
