temp internet folder 4GB!!! delete all files but still 4GB!!

my small HDD is to full to download things.

AVG shows no virus yet when i go into.....

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files


it says its 4GB!!!!

I delete them all, and the empty folder still says 4GB.

what can I do?

Do you have any hidden files in there?

Tools --> Folder Options --> View --> "Show Hidden Files and Folders"

Perhaps there is something there which you can't see at the min?

Try an advanced search for all files.

Look for files At Least 3000Mb. The search should bring up the offending file, then delete it form within the search result screen (assuming it is one file!) it sounds more like a left over image from a burning prog
