emule etc. new 2 this, so need advice

kazaa was crap, found a good mp3site, but thats gone now.

keep seeing emule & similar.

whats the best way now of getting stuff?

loaded it, but nothing on the desktop etc to show its there.

on installation, a screen came up with something about needing to go into sites that support bit torrent.

You need to find links for the stuff you're looking for. They're called torrents. When you click on them, a small window is going to appear and you'll be downlaoding that file.

I personnaly wouldn't recommend bittorrent for mp3. I still prefer kazzaa for mp3. On the other hand, for games, movies and other stuff...bittorrent is the way to go.
