The best all around anti-virus that picks up 98.5% of all viruses is F-Secure! Hands down it beats out all others!! No one comes close... :director:

Only free to try then you have to pay, but you get what you don't or do pay for!

I've tried all the others and now use this and when others don't pick up the infections, viruses, this one does EVERY time! (and it's getting better all the time) :)

Yep have to agree with CF on that.

The highest scoring FREE A/V software out there proven by test though is constantly avast! www.avast.com/ (http://www.avast.com/)

Just been awarded it's umpeenth VBA award yet again today too. http://www.avast.com/eng/pic/vb100ap4.gif

I downloaded the trial of internet security 2004 after reading your post. you're right about it finds a lot of viruses that norton didn't even detect. but what's the deal with f-secure installing some form of spy/adware programme? if you look in taskmanager you can see "backWeb-4476822.exe and SERVIC~1.EXE(which points to backweb also). do you know if these are just in the 1 month demo version? i don't fancy paying good money for the full programme if it's spy/adware riddled.:saywhat:
