Now i am thinking of getting either a slide card or Flip Top but I'm not sure which would be better. Anyone with personal experience would help me out a whole lot if you can leave me your feedback on either.
Thanks in advance.

well my cousin are having problems with the flip top.. somehow just placing the game inside the system it's not at the right spot or something then it won't load.. well that's my personal exps... haven't try silde card yet... but i guess it's kinda like the no solder chip which is much much easiler then the flip top in my opion

My general findings from the various forums that I visit are that the flip-tops are preferred over the slide-cards. Slide-cards can screw up your PS2. Anyways I would check out PS2ownz. Lots of people there who can give you comments on both methods.

I would definitely go with a flip-top. My brother broke the white slider on his PS2 using a slide card and had to spend about 4 hours trying to fix it with super glue and sand paper. He also hates swapping using the swap card.

I've used this cut up credit card for the past year and a half or so. It works great! Hopefully i wont saw the white pin in 2... I am not sure if the new versions of ps2 have the same design? I have like a v5 and it was the same as v1 which allowed me to use this slide card just by taking off the front tray panel.
i used plastic card for 3 years, i now have a flip-top its sooooo much easier.
Go for a flip-top.

Soon after the ps2 came out I thought why not just take the top off the ps2, top off the drive & just put in your disks that way. No slide or flip top needed. But youd still need those disks.
i tink the fliptop is the better option but if dont half do your head in swappin discs all the time especially when they need the cdloader as well
i think flip top is pants m8 my dvd disk just doesnt boot all the time very bad at loading wether this is just mine i dont know
