Strange Problem with DVD SHrink ?

Hi,

I have just formatted my HD an reinstalled Windows XP, but now when i run either DVD Shink or Clone DVD it tells me it will take 60 hours to rencode.

It was working fine before taking about an hours,but now just seems to have gone weird and also it uses 100% of the process power.

Any ideas ?

If you are getting this message, when you are ripping with DVD Shrink, it could be that DMA is not enabled on your IDE Channels.

Go to Device Manager/ IDE ATA/ATAPI Controlers ... Right Click/Properties/Advanced, if they show PIO Mode, reset them. You need to do this for both channels.
Then reboot and check that the new settings have been captured.

Afraid im not getting any error message just a very very slow rencode for some reason ?

Sorry ... I misunderstood ..... I thought you said "it tells me it will take 60 hours to rencode."

Have you checked your DMA settings as I suggested ?
