HELP with wireless network

Hi folks

I have a ADSL connection and currently using two usb dsl modems .. i have installed a wireless nic in each of the pc's and bought a netgear WGT624 v2
wirless router.. i think i may have bought the wrong one as i cant plug in the modem into the router ..

can any1 advise

no matter what ISP, the 624 model will not work with usb modems.

If staying with Netgear, you need to get the 834 model with built in adsl modem, and ditch the usb.

Alternatively you could keep the 624 and buy an ethernet modem, dlink do one, but personally I would just get the 834.

ill get the netgear 834 .. does this mean ill still need a access point ? for my two pc's which hav netgear nic's??

not quite sure where the access point comes in, sorry?

all you need is the router/modem (834) and the two wireless nic's. The 834 does everything else.
