Downloaded a bios file now how do I flash?

I got the xercuter2 bios file 4982. Unziped it and there are 2 bin images. Tryed to burn them with nero and fireburner but it didnt like the images. In the zip also came 3 DOS .bat files, 1 .exe,1 .xbe file and 4 other files which I dont know what to do with. Please help up update my bios.

errrr..... don't do it yet some people are having issues (http://www.dvdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?p=8302#post8302) with it over on xbox -scene.

but for future reference its not like a bin/cue file.

if flashing with evox, copy the bios (one is for f: only partition 4982.06 and the other is f: & g: 4982.67) to the bios folder which is in the same place as where your evoxdash.xbe file is. You will need to know what chip you are using or at least know if
a) flash protection has been disabled (cos if it hasn't you may have to open up the xbox to flash disable the protection)
b) what size bios banks you have- e.g. the x2 bioses come in 256k sizes, but you will need something like xbtool to pad it out to 512k if your chip requires 512k sized bios's (like the x2lite i think)

the .xbe file is to allow you make some changes to the bios (like enable/disable "no reset on eject" amongst other things)

the exe file i think is to verify that you have the real x2bios as apparently some knobs are releasing dodgy versions.

last thing x24982 (both versions) aren't as yet compatible with xbtool so at the mo you won't be able to change colours remove the flubber animation etc.
