Hey everybody, recently I've been having trouble with my T.V. I have a Samsung TX-P2670WH. For no reason the tv will just shut off and go into standbye mode. For a while, you could turn it back on after a few minutes, but now it just beeps and goes right back into standbye mode. Ideas?? My thoughts are it could possibly be a power supply issue, but hey, what do I know?

Seems like something is getting too hot, it went into standby to protect itself, switching it back on has made it so bad that it has stopped you from turning it back on. Your guess seems logical (apart from where you said it shuts off for no reason :) )

Apparently there is an issue with these Samsung TV`s. It is a dry-solder problem in the power curcuit board. You can repair it yourself. Type in "Samsung TV switces itself off" in a search engine.... see how ya go.
