Hi, im currently setting up a network, was wondering if anyone knew of any good encrytion methods, mainly for use of static IP,

so you want to hide your ip adress from the word so no one hacks you
there are programs out there
but i see when they switch your ip adress aka fake one sometime the connection is slow

hackers need a ip adress to talk with a pc system

my pc is total secure and i use a device for making the pc not even show up online

If you're setting up a wireless network, your Router manual should explain how to set up WEP (Wireless Encryption Protocol) ... if it doesn't or you haven't got the manual, post back with your Router Make/Model and I'm sure someone here will be able to advise you.

The guy is setting up a local network by the sounds of it, so that still wouldnt be of much use
Theres no reason to hide IP addresses locally

Encryption is the encrypting of data over the wire/airwaves, to stop it being intercepted
